     Presented in this lot is a game used Official Major League Allen H. Selig baseball signed and inscribed by former third baseman for the Atlanta Braves, Chipper Jones, who was playing in his last ever home game on September 30th, 2012 against the New York Mets. Both the signature and inscription were written in blue pen and the inscription reads “Last Home Game 9/30/12”. This ball was game used during the Braves 6-2 victory over the Mets at Turner Field in Atlanta. Jones ended his career with a .303 career batting average with 468 home runs, 1,512 walks, and 1,623 RBI in 2,499 games played. Jones has been recognized as being one of the most accomplished switch hitters in the history of the game and will most likely join the greats in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 234618), which dates this baseball to the September 30th game and comes with a PSA/DNA COA (4A62651) for Jones’ signature and inscription.
