Hall of Famer Greg Maddux posted a 19-9 record and an ERA of 3.57 during the 1999 season as helped lead the Atlanta Braves to the National League pennant. Maddux wore this size 7 1/8 New Era navy blue Braves hat with a red brim and white raised “A” in front during the 1999.season. The MLB logo is embroidered in red, white and navy blue on the back of the cap and Maddux’s “31” is hand written in black marker on the gray underside of the brim. Also hand written is “14” in silver to the right of the “A” and in black on the right side of the brim in honor of Andres Gallaraga, who was battling cancer that season. The hat shows light game use with minor sweat stains on the inner white sweat band and Maddux signed his name in black marker on the red brim. This hat comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AB73596) for the signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
