Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in his debut Topps gum card appearance. Presented is an icon of the collecting hobby, in the form of the universally desired '52 Topps depiction of Mickey Mantle. This example reveals splendid coloration in every aspect of the all-important player illustration: the great slugger's likeness is nearly flawless, graphic elements (team logo and caption block) are unblemished, and the azure-blue background hue carries almost no hint of scuffing. The corners show very satisfactory, strong points, with relatively mild evidence of circulation apparent at the bottom-right corner's tip. The card's reverse side is fresh and brightly printed. This is a very tempting and attractive piece that's ideal for the upper-middle-grade 1952 Topps set which so many enthusiasts aspire to complete. Excellent to Mint condition.
