     Offered here is a baseball signed by Hall of Fame second baseman Frankie Frisch. Frisch, the 1931 National League MVP, played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals between 1919 and 1937. Frisch ended his career with a .316 batting average and 2,880 hits. Nicknamed “The Fordham Flash,” Frisch stole 419 bases, leading the league in 1921, 1927, and 1931. After his playing career ended, Frisch became a respected manager for the Cardinals, Pirates, and Cubs, racking up 1,138 wins to go with 1,078 losses.

     Frisch signed this ball in black ballpoint pen near the sweet spot of the ball and inscribed “The Old Flash”. His signature and inscription are faded but still readable and this item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04068).
