Presented is a 48-card complete set of 1951 Bowman "Red Menace" non-sports cards. This intriguing production fueled the anti-communistic fervor that gripped, and crippled, American society. Bowman issued this set of colorful collectibles depicting vital events, prominent military leaders, and the potential effects of nuclear war (as seen on card #23). With five exceptions (#'s 3, 15, 33, 34 and 47) in the set, the cards are all on white cardstock. One card has been graded by PSA. Highlights include: #'s 2 MacArthur (VG-), 23 Ghost City (PSA EX-MT 6), 24 General "Ike" in Command (PR) and 47 War-Maker (VG). Grades 4% EX to EX/MT, 38% VG to VG/EX, 58% lesser.
