The offered memento of Cardinals outfielder Joe "Ducky" Medwick possesses a fabulous aesthetic, with sharp corners and fantastic color serving to emphasize the glory inherent in its presentation. The item's star-power is cloying, too: in 1937, just a short time after this card's emergence, Medwick put together one of the greatest seasons in baseball history when he led the National League in every offensive category except triples to win the Triple Crown.
