Joe Panik, the pride of Yonkers, New York and St. John’s University, was ripping his way through the minors for the San Francisco Giants and made his big league debut on May 22, 2014, and was the team’s starting second baseman by the end of June finishing the season with a .305 batting average. Panik followed up his strong rookie campaign with an all-star sophomore season as he batted .312 with eight home runs and 37 RBI. Panik pounded the stuffing out of a lot balls with this white maple “Powerized” Louisville Slugger Geuine T141 model bat that displays evidence of outstanding use with blue ink transfers, deep stitch impressions and a light coating of pine tar on its handle. The bat’s “02/20/15” order date “VM” (high grade Amish Maple) and it’s “33.5/31.O” length and weight specs are engraved in the knob end. “PANIK 12” is hand written in black marker on the knob as well and Panik’s number “12” is hand written in bib black marker on the cupped-barrel. Panik signed the bat in blue marker with a “2015 GU” inscription between the label and the barrel. This bat comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA (1B10718) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (6A90934) for the signature.
