Presented here is a lot of three bats either used or signed by great members of the Atlanta Braves. The first bat belonged to a player whose Hall of Fame status is almost assured, third baseman Chipper Jones. The 1998 NL MVP ordered this Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick AMS20 Model bat during the 2012 season, his final year in the Majors. This ash bat shows no evidence of game use, but Jones signed the barrel of the bat in blue Sharpie. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10719) for use and a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ 547962) and PSA/DNA COA (AC41467) for the signature.

The second bat belonged to ageless wonder Julio Franco. Franco played from 1982 to 2007, finally retiring at the age of 49. A three-time All-Star, Franco spent five years in his mid-40s with the Braves, and finished out his career with a 15-game spell for Atlanta in 2007. He used this bat in 2001 and 2002. Despite his advanced age, Franco hit .287 over these two seasons, playing admirable defense at first base. This bat is a Louisville Slugger C271 Model bat, and it displays excellent use. There is a small crack in the handle. Franco’s number “4” is written on the knob and top of the barrel in silver marker. Franco signed the barrel of the bat in gold Sharpie. This bat comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10720) for game use and a PSA/DNA COA (AC41463) for the signature.

The final bat in this lot belonged to Brian McCann, the Braves seven-time All-Star catcher. McCann played for the Braves between 2005 and 2013, hitting 176 home runs for the Atlanta ballclub. McCann used this Louisville Slugger M9 model MC67 Brian McCann bat during the 2009 season. In 2009 McCann was named an All-Star for the fourth consecutive year, finishing with 21 homers and 94 RBI. This bat shows signs of outstanding use, and has a medium coating of Mota stick on the lower handle. The date of manufacture (6/26/2009) and length/weight specs (34” 31 oz) are stamped into the knob. McCann’s number “16” is written on the knob and top of the barrel. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10721) for game use.
