Baltimore Orioles star infielder Manny Machado began his rookie season of 2012 in August. In 51 games, Machado hit .262 with seven home runs and 26 RBI and helped the Orioles advance past the Wild Card Play-In Game to the American League Division Series. Machado used this Louisville Slugger G174 Alex Rodriguez New York Yankees model bat during his initial time with the Orioles. The G174 model was commonly used by Rodriguez as a batting practice bat in 2011 and this particular bat was made for the 2012 season. This bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are bat rack marks and other markings and an Oriole “13” orange and black circular sticker is affixed to the knob end. There is a light coating of Mota stick on the handle and Machado signed his name in black marker with the inscription “Game Used 2012” on the barrel. Please note that there is a small streak through Machado’s signature, but it is still clear. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B07931) for the game use and STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (U81982) for his signature.
