Ali, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all-time, compiled a career record of 50 wins and 6 losses. He was renowned for his lightning quick footwork and vicious jabs capable of laying a man out in one punch. Ali was not only a great fighter, but also one of the most well known and respected social activists of the 20th century. He staunchly opposed the Vietnam War, nearly ending his boxing career in the process. Ali’s combination of athletic prowess and social activism made him one of the most beloved and iconic Americans of the modern age.
