Offered here is a dinner program signed by Rocky Marciano, framed with a photo display. Marciano, a heavyweight boxer, finished his career with a perfect 49-0 record. Marciano is the only heavyweight champion to go undefeated through his entire career, which ranged from 1947 to 1955. A heavy puncher who took on all comers, Marciano faced some of boxings greatest fighters, including Joe Louis, Jersey Joe Walcott, and Ezzard Charles.

     The testimonial dinner was sponsored by the Westchester County Veteran Boxing Association, and held at Glen Island Casino in New Rochelle, New York, on April 17th, 1966. The event was held in honor of Marciano and Steve Acunto, a boxing lifer and great friend of Marciano. Marciano signed the front cover of the letter in blue ballpoint pen and above the two pieces of paper is a black and white photograph of Marciano winding up to throw a crunching uppercut into his opponent, who is pinned to the ropes and on the verge of collapse. This display comes in a 20 ½ x 15 ½ inch frame and comes with a LOA from JSA (Y94784).
