Offered here is a painting featuring and signed by the 1986 World Champion New York Mets. The Mets won 108 games in the regular season, setting up a showdown with the long-suffering Boston Red Sox for the Commissioner’s Trophy. The Mets prevailed in seven games, aided by the Mookie Wilson’s infamous ground ball that trickled through the legs of Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner in Game 6. 1986 was the Mets second World Series title, and their last to date.

This stretched canvas painting features the portraits of 17 Mets, including Wally Backman, Keith Hernandez, Gary Carter, Mookie Wilson, Darryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden, Ray Knight, Rafael Santana, Jesse Orosco, Roger McDowell, Bob Ojeda, and others. The signatures of all these players, and more including Barry Lyons, Tom Teufel, and others grace this painting. The centerpiece of the painting is the Mets 25th Anniversary logo and a ticket to Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. This painting was made by Doo S. Oh and is a limited edition 70 of 86. The frame is 32 x 25 inches and the picture itself is 26 x 18 ½ inches. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04520).
