Joe DiMaggio set one of baseball’s truly unbreakable records when he hit safely in his 56th consecutive game. Previously, the record hitting streak was 45 games, set by 19th century Hall of Famer “Wee” Willie Keeler. By adding 11 games to Keeler’s streak, DiMaggio cemented his legacy as an all-time great. While he played for the Yankees, DiMaggio won nine World Series in 13 seasons. “Joltin’ Joe” finished his career, which was interrupted for three years by WW2, with 361 home runs and only 369 strikeouts.

This 29 x 32 inch framed lithograph shows DiMaggio in the middle of his trademark swing. DiMaggio signed the white border under the portrait in blue Sharpie. The artist Stephen Gardner created this lithograph, which is a limited edition 395 of 1,000. He attached his signature in grey pencil to the left of DiMaggio’s. The lithograph is titled “My 56th Consecutive Game Hit.” This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (AC04479).
