Boston Red Sox drafted Andrew Benintendi with the seventh overall pick in the 2015 draft. Benintendi quickly rose through the Red Sox farm system and made his debut with the big club on August 2nd, 2016 and is now the #1 Ranked Prospect in all of Major League Baseball by Baseball America. In 34 games, Benintendi hit a respectable .295 with two home runs and 14 RBI and made the post-season roster. This Marucci MR-24 model bat was used by Benintendi during the 2016 season. This bat shows outstanding use with a crack in the handle. Pine tar was applied between the barrel and the handle and there are numerous ball mark and cleat impressions on the barrel. This black bat with a cherry finish has a navy blue sticker on the knob with “AB and the Red Sox “B”. Benintendi signed his name in gold marker on the barrel and inscribed “16 GU”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10745) and a LOA from Anderson Authentics (2141) which also authenticates the game use and his signature. Andrew’s items have been in short supply thus far, greatly exceeding the demand in the marketplace, making this a terrific opportunity to own one of his game used bats with player provenance.
