The 2015 season was the second year in New York for outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury as he played in 111 games with a .257 batting average as the Yankees reached the playoffs by earning one of the two American League Wild Card spots. Ellsbury wore this button-down size 44 New York Yankees road gray jersey during the May 19, 2015 game at Nationals Park against the Washington Nationals. Ellsbury was 0-1 in two plate appearances, scoring a run as the Nationals defeated the Yankees 8-6 in 10 innings.
This Majestic CoolBase jersey features “NEW YORK” across the chest in navy blue on white tackle twill. Ellsbury’s number “22” is sewn on the back in navy blue and white. Each sleeve has a ribbed navy blue/white/navy blue pattern to cap of the sleeve ends and the MLB logo patch is sewn on the back at the base of the neck in silver, white and navy blue.
