Rob Gronkowski wore this white Arizona Wildcats size 44 road jersey during the 2008 college football season. In 2008, his sophomore year in Tucson, Gronkowski played 10 games and finished with 672 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Since he missed the first three games of the year, this jersey must have been worn against either UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, or Washington State.
After sitting out the 2009 season due to injury, Gronkowski was drafted by the New England Patriots. In his time in Foxboro, Gronkowski has morphed into the most dominant tight end in the NFL. In his 88 career games, Gronkowski has caught 68 touchdown passes and rushed for one more. Surely, a spot in Canton awaits “Gronk” when he decides to hang up his cleats.
This white road jersey features Gronkowski’s number “48” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in navy-on-red tackle twill. “R. GRONKOWSKI” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy blue tackle twill. A red saddle with “ARIZONA” sewn on it in navy tackle twill is present on the lower back of the jersey. A size “44” tag is sewn on the bottom left of the jersey with a “L” flag attached. This item comes with a full LOA from Mears, who has been graded this jersey a perfect A10 and comes with a Bob Case LOA.
