These shirts and tie were worn by the legendary actor and rapper Tupac Shakur in the 1997 movie Gang Related. Tupac starred in numerous movies in his theater career, including Juice, Poetic Justice, and Above the Rim, although Gang Related was his final on-screen appearance. It was released a year after his tragic shooting death in 1996. It was also announced that Tupac has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is a part of the Class of 2017 inductees. Gang Related tells the story of two corrupt Los Angeles detectives, Jim Belushi and Tupac, who attempt to frame a homeless man (Randy Quaid) for the murder of an undercover DEA agent, played by rap legend Kool Moe Dee. Tupac also contributed several songs to the movie’s double platinum soundtrack, including “Life’s So Hard,” and “Starin’ Through My Rearview.”
Offered here are three white button down shirts, including the one Tupac wore in the scene where his character, Detective Jake Rodriguez, is killed off-screen by his bookie and his bookie’s bodyguard, Mr. Cutlass Supreme. This shirt is covered in fake blood stains, mostly concentrated on the left side of the shirt and the bottom. Also included is a white wifebeater and gold tie that Tupac wore during the movie. These items come with two Polaroid photographs of Tupac wearing these exact items and a COA from It’s A Wrap Productions.
