One of America’s most popular presidents, Theodore Roosevelt was a man of vast interests not limited to the office of the Presidency. A veteran of the Spanish-American War, Roosevelt established the National Park service and became known for his progressive policies favoring the American worker. A masterful negotiator, Roosevelt was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating the end of the Russo-Japanese War. Roosevelt was a lifelong outdoorsman, known almost as much for his vigorous spirit as his political achievements.

Offered here is an 11x16 inch full length portrait of Roosevelt. Clad in a sharp three piece suit, Roosevelt looks every inch the master statesman that he was. Roosevelt signed the bottom of the portrait in black sharpie. The photograph is of a 1908 portrait of Roosevelt commissioned by the Harvard Class of 1880. This item comes with a University Archives LOA.
