Featured is a framed display of one half of the M&M boys, Roger Maris. The home run chase between him and teammate Mickey Mantle gained media attention, when they both sought to break Babe Ruth’s 60 home run single season record in 1961. Maris would break the record on the last day of the season against the Boston Red Sox. This featured display contains a black and white photo of Maris at the top with a signed First Day Babe Ruth envelope at the bottom. Maris has signed the envelope in bold blue ink and this display is both matted and framed and stands 17 x 19 inches. The signed envelope has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83023776) and graded as AUTHENTIC and includes a LOA from JSA (X06802).
