Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria burst onto the scene in 2008 as he helped lead the Rays to the American League pennant and won the American League Rookie of the Year Award. Longoria used this Louisville Slugger I13 model bat during the September 20th, 2008 game against the Minnesota Twins at Tropicana Field in Tampa. Longoria went 1-4 in the game with a run scored and broke this 33.5-inch ash bat during that game. This bat has a flame burned finish has a crack on the handle, displaying evidence of excellent use. Longoria’s number “3” sticker is affixed to the knob in block letter format and Longoria signed and inscribed “GAME USED 2008 ROOKIE SEASON ” in bold blue marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 130268) for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (AC41466) for his signature.
