No defenseman has ever had quite the impact on the offensive side of a hockey game like Bobby Orr. The first player to record over 100 assists in a season, Orr changed hockey’s perception of what a defender could and couldn’t do. In the 1969-1970 season Orr became the only player to win the Norris, Art Ross, Hart, and Conn Smythe Trophies in one season. Orr retired in 1979, finishing his career with 270 goals, 645 assists, and an astronomical plus/minus of +597.
The item offered here is a 1970’s style Boston Bruins away jersey. This white sweater features the Bruins iconic “B” logo on the front and Orr’s #4 on the back. Orr signed this jersey on the upper-right breast in black Sharpie. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (L79884).
