Alvin Robertson wore this jersey during the 1986 NBA All-Star Game. Robertson, then a shooting guard for the San Antonio Spurs, was a starter for the Western Conference team and finished the game with four points, five assists, and nine rebounds in 20 minutes. His playmaking efforts could not secure a victory for the West, as they fell 139-132 to an Eastern Conference team led by Isiah Thomas.

Robertson finished the 1985-86 season impressively, averaging 17.7 points, 5.2 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and a league leading 3.7 steals per game. Robertson still holds the NBA record for most steals and steals per game in a season thanks to his 1986 efforts.

This off-white Sand-Knit jersey features “NBA ALL-STAR” screen printed on the front in red-on-blue text. Robertson’s number “21” is screen printed on the front and back in blue text. “ROBERTSON” is screen printed across the back shoulders in blue text. A pattern of blue and red stars is screen printed down each side of the jersey. The opening for the sleeves and neck feature a red, white, and blue ribbon border. Robertson signed this size 42 jersey in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “Best Wishes” and “’84’ Olympics.”

Also included are the shorts Robertson wore in the ’86 All Star game. These size 32 Sand-Knit shorts feature “WEST” screen printed in red-on-blue text running vertically down the sides ringed by a screen printed set of red-on-blue stars. The shorts have a red, white, and blue waistband. Robertson signed the shorts in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “Best Wishes” and “’84’ Olympics.” Both the jersey and shorts show good game use and comes with a Robertson LOA.
