Thanks to Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls won their second consecutive NBA Title in 1997, their fifth title in seven years. Jordan played all 82 regular season games where he averaged 29.6 points per game. This black mesh jersey, was worn by Jordan during the 1996-97 season and has red pinstripes and red, white and black ribbing around the neck and arm openings. "BULLS" arches across the chest with Jordan's number "23" in red, white and black tackle twill. The NBA logo patch is sewn on the left shoulder in gold, which was unique for the 1996-97 season commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the NBA. The Champion size "46" label is sewn in the lower left front tail with a Chicago Bulls "BODY LENGTH +3" label sewn adjacent. The back has "JORDAN" across the shoulders with Jordan's number "23" in red, white and black tackle twill. The jersey shows light to moderate game use with no tearing or stains. There are a few loose threads on the lettering but the stitching remains tight. Jordan also signed his name diagonally in black marker on the back number “2”. This jersey comes with a LOA from the Chicago Bulls authenticating the game use and a COA from Upper Deck (UAS 05974) and a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB06436) for his signature.
