Alex Rodriguez used these two H&B Louisville Slugger G174 Model bats during batting practice in the 2015 season. Obviously, Rodriguez’s practice paid off, as he returned from a season-long suspension to club 33 home runs and 86 RBI for the New York Yankees. The aging three-time AL MVP shocked the baseball world with his resurgent 2015, as he hit his most home runs in a season since 2008. Both bats exhibit heavy use consistent with batting practice. The handles of both bats have signs of pine tar use. The specifications of the bats (34” and 34 oz) are engraved on the knob as well as a date (07/14/15 and 02/24/15). Both bats come with PSA/DNA LOAs (1B10921, 1B10922) and LOAs from Rodriguez’s surrogate father, Eddie Rodriguez.
