Presented here is an Official Major League Allan H. Selig World Series baseball signed by 34 members of the 2012 American League Champion Detroit Tigers. The Tigers claimed the pennant after winning the American League Central Division and dispatching the Oakland A’s and New York Yankees in short order in the American League Playoffs. Unfortunately for the Tigers, they ran into the San Francisco Giants in an even year, and fell to their National League foes in four games.

This baseball features the signatures of 34 Detroit Tigers, including manager Jim Leyland on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Miguel Cabrera, the 2012 AL MVP and Triple Crown winner, the previous season’s AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander, and two-time Cy Young honoree Max Scherzer.
