Wade Boggs wrapped up his Hall of Fame career with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Boggs hit the team’s first home run on Opening Day 1998 and racked up his 3,000 career hit the following summer. This 1998 Louisville Slugger B349 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. The right barrel shows displays some checking from repeated ball contact. Boggs has signed the barrel and inscribed “HOF 05 Game Used ’98 Season” in blue marker. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10899) for the game use, with a grade of GU 8.5 and a COA from PSA/DNA (AC41468) for the signature.
