Roberto Alomar was at the tail end of his Hall of Fame career when he arrived in New York in 2002. Over the course of two seasons with the Mets, Alomar topped off the career numbers that would add up to earn him a plaque in Cooperstown. The Louisville Slugger P72 model bat from 2002-2003 is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Several ball marks and stitch impressions are visible on the barrel along with the imprint of a weighted batting donut. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle and center brand and the lower knob and handle have been taped to enhance the grip. Alomar’s number “12” is hand written on the knob and barrel ends in silver pen. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B05158) for the game use, with a grade of GU 8.5.
