Fast and lean, the early Barry Bonds was the Pittsburgh Pirates lead-off man in the late 1980's. Credited with adding life to a depressed and tired Pittsburgh franchise, Bonds stole 32 bases and hit 27 homers in 1987 and followed that up the next summer by batting .283 and matching his uniform number with 24 home runs. The Louisville Slugger H238 model bat is un-cracked and shows light use. A few ball marks and stitch impressions and on the barrel along with cleat imprints. Bonds’ number “24” is hand written on the knob in black marker and he has signed the barrel in faded black marker. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B01625) for the game use, with a grade of GU 7 and LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04476) for the signature.
