Featured is a ticket from the opening game of the 1974 season where the Cincinnati Reds hosted the Atlanta Braves. The game took place on April 14, 1974, and it was this game where Hall of Famer Hank Aaron would go on to tie Babe Ruth’s home run record of 714 on his first bat of the season! Hank Aaron would eventually break the record all-together and retire after the 1976 season with 755 home runs, the most at that time. This blue ticket was for a $5.00 Field Box and the lettering and numbering are in black and red. This ticket is in great condition and has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (21472527) and has been graded VG-EX 4.
