Arguably the greatest five-tool player of all-time, Willie Mays set the standard for excellence during his 22-year career. A two-time MVP and 20-time All-Star, Mays slugged 660 career home runs while maintaining a sterling .302 batting average. Mays was the franchise player for the New York/San Francisco Giants for most of his career, with the last year and a half spent back in New York with the Mets. Mays was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, earning 94.7% of the vote.
The item offered here is a Mitchell & Ness San Francisco Giants home jersey. Mays signed the front right breast area in blue Sharpie. Under his name he inscribed “H.O.F. 79.” This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA.
