The 1954 Milwaukee Braves finished in third place with a respectable 89-65 record, only eight games behind National League pennant winning Brooklyn Dodgers. The club featured young slugging stars of Hank Aaron and Eddie Mathews, along with pitching ace Warren Spahn. Mathews would record his 100th career home run that season. This Official National League Warren Giles baseball has been signed by 25 members of that team. Manager Charlie Grimm signed his name on the sweet spot and the inscription “1954 BRAVES” is above his signatures. Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews have all signed this baseball with other signatures including Andy Pafko, Bobby Thomson, Sibby Sisti, Ray Crone, Del Crandall, Johnny Logan, Billy Bruton, Jack Dittmer, Sam Calderone, Ernie Johnson and several others. This team signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04545).
