Presented here is an Official National League William D. White baseball, signed by Hall of Famer Duke Snider. Known as “The Duke of Flatbush” or “The Silver Fox”, Duke would play most of his career for the Brooklyn/ Los Angeles Dodgers. Snider would become an eight-time All-Star, and would help the Dodgers win the World Series in 1955 as well as 1959, beating longtime rivals, the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox respectively.
This ball is signed by Snider in blue ink to the right of the commissioner’s stamp. Furthermore, the ball is inscribed with Snider’s stats “HOF 1980 GAMES 2,143 HITS 2,116 RUNS 1,259 HR’S 407 RBI 1,333 BA 295 SA 540”. This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from JSA (J71502).
