     Presented here is a letter typed and signed by Doc Wendler, the longtime trainer and doctor for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Wendler joined the Dodgers’ medical staff in 1943, and treated legendary players like Jackie Robinson and Carl Furillo. In this letter, addressed to Dodgers GM Buzzie Bavasi, Wendler addresses rumors that he is considering retirement due to the Dodgers imminent move to Los Angeles. The letter is typed on official Dodger letterhead and is dated December 14, 1957. Wendler signed the bottom of the letter in blue pen. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04482).
