Encapsulated and assessed "Authentic" by PSA. Hall of Famer. One of the scarcest Mantle collectibles from the 1950s, this prized Bazooka box-back panel features a memorable image of "The Mick." The approximately 2-7/8" x 5" piece, printed on thick cardstock and blank-backed, concedes a series of horizontal creases at the center (fortuitously sparing key elements of Mantle's likeness), along with a missing edge chip at the left side and associated evidence of circulation. The card's unprinted back is unmarked.
