Of all the achievements found in the baseball record books, only one can be said to be virtually un-beatable - Johnny Vander Meer’s back-to-back no-hitters. This incredible feat, recorded by the Cincinnati Reds ace during a five-game stretch in the 1938 season, is one of the most unlikely and incredible pitching performances in baseball history.

Vander Meer’s popularity following his second no-hitter was so high that the city of Cincinnati proposed replacing the statue of President Garfield downtown with one of the Reds pitching hero. This Rawlings Official National League ball has been signed on the sweet spot in blue ball point by Vander Meer and then inscribed with the dates of his two historic back-to-back no-hitters. The ball shows some toning from age and the signature is very strong. A great signed ball recording baseball’s only un-breakable record. The ball is in an unsealed PSA/DNA case with certification 7 (P67855) for the signature.

1938 Johnny Vander Meer Single-Signed ONL Coleman Baseball (PSA/DNA)
