     The 2001 MLB All-Star Game took place in Safeco Field in Seattle, in the midst of the Mariners historic 116 win season. The American All-Stars emerged victorious from that game, dispatching the NL squad 4-1. Cal Ripken Jr. was named MVP of the game in the last of his 19 All-Star appearances.

     The item offered here is a Rawlings Official All-Star Game baseball signed by 31 coaches and players from the National League contingent. Manager Bobby Valentine’s signature occupies the sweet spot of the ball. Among the signatures are Chipper Jones, Larry Walker, Barry Bonds, Ben Sheets, and many more. The signatures are written in either blue or black ballpoint pen. This item comes with an MLB Authentication hologram (AR 061434), a prior JSA Auction Letter, and has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
