Led by Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax, who won the National League Cy Young Award and MVP, the 1963 Los Angeles Dodgers captured the National League pennant by six games over the St. Louis Cardinals and swept the New York Yankees in the World Series. 27 members of the World Series winning team have signed this Official National League Warren Giles baseball. Signed across the sweet spot in faded black ink are the signatures of Hall of Famers Walter Alston and Leo Durocher. Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax’s name appears on one of the side panels and other signatures include Ken Rowe, Johnny Podres, Pete Richert, Maury Wills, Wally Moon and several others. The ball displays minor toning and the signatures are light but clear. This item comes pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and a prior JSA Auction Letter.
