After 22 years in the Majors, Harmon Killebrew - "The Killer" - retired in 1975. At the time, no man beside the mighty Babe Ruth hit more home runs in the American League. Killebrew's total of 573 gave him a spot in the exclusive 500 Home Run Club and he remains the greatest player to ever wear a Minnesota Twins uniform. This Hillerich & Bradsby S207 model bat dates from Killebrew's last three seasons in the Majors. The bat is un-cracked and displays excellent use. The Killer has signed the barrel in black marker and inscribed “H.R. No. 522” and “With this bat I passed Ted Williams on the all-time list!”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10867) for the game use, with a grade of GU 9. Please note that despite the inscriptions, PSA/DNA has determined that this bat was manufactured in 1973, the year after the noted home run. Killebrew’s signature has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
