There have been 23 perfect games in Major League history and three of the pitchers who accomplished their feat with the New York Yankees have signed this Official League baseball. David Wells, who threw his perfect game on May 17th, 1998 against the Minnesota Twins, signed his name in blue pen across the sweet spot. Wells’ signature shows bleeding, but is still readable. David Cone signed his name on the side panel in blue pen and inscribed “P.G. 7-18-99”. Don Larsen, who pitched a perfect game in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers, signed his name in bold blue pen on the side panel below his inscription that reads “I went to the same high school as Wells, attended Cone’s perfect game, and we each threw a perfect game for the Yankees”. This multi-signed baseball has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
