One of the most defining moments in world history came when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945. This was the first time in history a nuclear weapon was used offensively, and ushered in a new era of world politics.

This Official Allan H. Selig Major League baseball was signed and inscribed by Morris Jeppson, a weapon test officer aboard the Enola Gay, the plane that dropped the “Little Boy” bomb on Hiroshima. Jeppson inscribed “Weapon Test Officer/Enola Gay Mission/Aug. 6, 1945/Hiroshima/Japan” on the ball in blue ballpoint pen. This ball is an incredible piece of world history and demonstrates the immense power that the United States wields. This item comes pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
