Despite being under 6 feet tall, Allen Iverson capped off a tremendous NBA career with his 2016 induction into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. Iverson ranks seventh all-time in points per game, pouring in an average of 26.6 each contest. The Georgetown product is best known for his time as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, the team he singlehandedly willed to the NBA Finals during his MVP-winning 2000-2001 season. Iverson is one of the most beloved athletes in Philadelphia sports history.

Iverson wore this Reebok size 44 blue alternate jersey during the 2002-03 season, when he averaged 27.6 points, 5.5 assists, and a league-leading 2.7 steals per game. Iverson was named to his fourth consecutive All-Star Game that season. This jersey features a white-on-red-and-blue tackle twill “SIXERS” logo sewn onto the front of the jersey. Iverson’s number “3” is sewn on the front and back in white-on-red tackle twill. “IVERSON” is stitched across the back in white-on-red tackle twill. Iverson signed the jersey to the left of the back “3” in black Sharpie. A Reebok tag is sewn on the front with “[size] 44,” “+4 LENGTH,” and “2002-2003” flags sewn on.

The matching shorts are also blue, and have a “76” logo sewn on the front in tackle twill. The waistband is red, black, and gold and Iverson signed the right leg in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “HOF 2016.” The back inside waistband features a Reebok tag with “[size] 44,” “+1 RISE,” and “+1 INSEAM” flags added. This lot comes with an LOA from Allen Iverson.
