After being upset by the New York Mets in the 1969 World Series, the Baltimore Orioles rebounded with a vengeance as they cruised to an American League East title, swept the Minnesota Twins in the ALCS and defeated the Cincinnati Reds in five games to win the 1970 World Series. 26 members of the 1970 World Series Champion team have signed this Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball. The signatures have been signed in blue and black pen and feature Hall of Famers Earl Weaver on the sweet spot (along with coach Jim Hunter), Jim Palmer, Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson. Other signatures include Boog Powell, Davey Johnson, Dick Hall, Merv Rettenmund, Moe Drabowsky, Curt Motton, Don Buford, George Staller, Pete Richert, Mark Belanger, George Bamburger, Bobby Grich, Jim Frey, Chico Salmon and others. The ball displays toning from age but the signatures are clear. This team-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB11053).
