The 2005 World Series was a rather unexpected encounter. The Chicago White Sox met the Houston Astros in a matchup of teams mired in a 132 year combined title draught. Chicago, who entered the playoffs with the best record in the American League, defeated the NL Wild Card winners in four consecutive games. This was the White Sox first championship since 1917 and first appearance in the World Series since 1959. Jermaine Dye won the MVP award for the White Sox, hitting .438 with a home run and three RBI.
Offered here is a set of tickets to Games 1 through 4 of the 2005 Series. The tickets for Game 1 and Game 3 feature crouching catchers, while the tickets for Game 2 and Game 4 feature a right handed batter. Games 1 and 2 took place at U.S. Cellular Field (now Guaranteed Rate Field) in Chicago and Games 3 and 4 took place at Minute Maid Park in Houston. All of these tickets have been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (0638373, 06383783, 06383283, 06383469).
