In 2014, Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt made his second consecutive All-Star appearance. Goldschmidt was on pace for an excellent season before he broke his hand on August 1st, an injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the season. In only 109 games that season Goldschmidt hit .300, with 19 home runs and 69 RBI.

This Old Hickory TC1 maple bat is uncracked and exhibits excellent use, with many ball and cleat impressions visible on the bat. The handle is coated with a light sheen of pine tar. Goldschmidt’s number “44” is affixed to the knob on a Schutte Diamondback logo sticker. Goldschmidt signed the barrel of this bat in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “2014 Game Used.” This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B06867) and has been awarded a grade of GU 8.5. The signature comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 704095).
