Presented is a framed panoramic photograph of the 1937 Washington Redskins team commemorating their World Championship victory. The 1937 season was the first season that the Redskins had played with Washington as their home base, having previously played in Boston (as the Boston Redskins). They would ultimately play the championship game against the Chicago Bears, winning 28-21. The panoramic picture measures 23 x 7 ½ inches. The frame shows some obvious signs of age as the black paint has stripped off on various parts displaying the original wood color, and has very little damage along the inside. The picture itself is in very good condition, with no signs of fading, discoloration, or creases. This is a great addition for any Redskins’ fanatic or a collector of vintage football memorabilia.
