London Fletcher was one of the NFL’s great undrafted free agent success stories. A linebacker out of Division-III John Carroll University, Fletcher started 215 consecutive NFL games. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Fletcher won Super Bowl XXXIV with the St. Louis Rams. Fletcher retired in 2013 after spending six years with the Washington Redskins.
Fletcher wore this Nike size 46 burgundy jersey on November 13, 2011, a 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium. Fletcher played well, recording seven solo tackles and anchoring the Redskin defense. Fletcher’s number “59” is sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white-on-yellow tackle twill. “FLETCHER” is sewn on the back in white tackle twill on a burgundy nameplate. This jersey shows excellent use, with heavy staining on the back and shoulders especially. A burgundy-on-gold captain “C” patch was sewn on the right breast. On the back inside collar is a sewn sizing tag. This item comes with a Redskins COA.
