Philadelphia 76ers star Billy Cunningham played his first seven seasons in the NBA with the Sixers and was a key player in the franchise’s first NBA title in 1967. Cunningham left Philadelphia for the ABA’s Carolina Cougars starting with the 1972-73 season. After spending two seasons in Carolina, Cunningham returned to Philadelphia to finish out his career that lasted until 1976. This blue Pearson short sleeve warm-up zipper-down jacket was worn by Cunningham during his second stint in Philadelphia, which spanned the 1974-75 and 1975-76 seasons. This size L blue collared jacket features “76” sewn on tackle twill on the upper left chest with 13 white stars surrounding the number. The “7” is sewn on in red and the “6” is sewn on in white. The back of the jacket has “Philadelphia” arched across the upper shoulders in white tackle twill with “76ers” sewn on below it (the “7” sewn on in red). Cunningham’s number “32” is sewn on a 1 ¼ x 2 inch patch on the inside back collar. This jacket displays light to moderate use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
