Hard to believe but true, the only 1980 Philadelphia Eagles ring ever to previously surface at a major auction house was that of guard Charlie Johnson in 2012 for over $15,000. Tracking auction records from the past 15 years reveals no other authentic examples of any kind—player or staff. Yet here we have the hobby-fresh offering of fullback Leroy Harris' ring, crowned by a 50-point diamond in the grip of a gold eagle atop a green stone. The Jostens 10K-gold, size 13 ring also showcases an enameled Eagles helmet and Lombardi Trophy on its shanks. NM condition. Accompanied by a 1993 purchase LOA and the original Eagle-green presentation box (5" x 4" x 2", EX) with superb team logo on its inner lid. Harris, who played five NFL seasons, racked up over 500 total yards and fourTDs in 1980, including a memorably clutch 43-yard reception against the Raiders that helped secure home-field advantage in the postseason.
