Veteran infielder Francisco Matos batted .324 for the Rochester Red Wings in the inaugural season of Rochester's Frontier Field. He also contributed a key sacrifice bunt in the decisive Game 5 of the Governors' Cup championship series. The Dominican-born Matos enjoyed a long minor-league career and brief major-league stint, followed by coaching tenures with the Angels and Rangers. His 14K-gold, size 11 ring (manufactured by Artcarved) features a raised team logo surrounded by 30 points of diamonds, along with great high-detail shank designs of the Orioles logo and Frontier Field. "Francisco Matos" is engraved inside the band. NM condition. Accompanied by an Artcarved presentation bag and 2001 purchase LOA.
