Featured is an autographed Chicago Bears helmet signed by the legendary Walter Payton. Known as “Sweetness”, Payton , when he retired, held the league’s record for most rushing yards, touchdowns, carries, and several other categories. Additionally, Payton was a two-time MVP, a nine-time Pro Bowl player, and a Super Bowl XX champion. Ultimately, Payton would be diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare liver disease that would ultimately take his life. This helmet is autographed by the legendary Payton in silver ink over the Chicago Bears wishbone “C” and inscribed “34”. This helmet is in great condition and includes a COA by AFCA as well as a LOA from PSA/DNA (Y02021).
